Military veterans can now receive college credit for their combat medicine experience through a new program called E-line Military (ELM) at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

More than 50 students are currently enrolled in the program and about 300 are being advised.

The White House and the Department of Defense are monitoring the ELM program at A&M Corpus Christi, as they might implement it at other nursing schools in the United States.
